  • Place a filter paper or a metal filter in the cap of the Aeropress and wet it with some hot water.
  • Screw the cap onto the chamber of the Aeropress and place it over a mug or a carafe.
  • Add the coffee grounds to the chamber and pour enough hot water to fill it up to the number 4 mark.
  • Stir the mixture with the paddle or a spoon for 10 seconds.
  • Insert the plunger into the chamber and press down slowly and steadily until you hear a hissing sound.

  • Place the portafilter on the scale and tare it. Add the desired amount of coffee grounds to the portafilter and level them with your finger or a spoon.
